Dates with Love in Korea- Day 9

28 May 2014-

Bf and his friends (including the friend that we bumped into in Hongdae) arranged for a trip to Everland together. Thankfully the weather was awesome that day. If only I was also in a tip top condition. You see, my feet swelled even more, and going down the stairs began to be a problem. Every step I took was also tiring for my feet. ;(

We were supposed to meet at 9am. So bf and I had breakfast sharp at 8am. Because we were early, their stir-fried food was'nt ready, so they offered us cup noodles haha. I had a very happy meal.

Met his friends at one of the stations before heading down to Gangnam station. From exit 10, you can take bus 5002 which will take about 45 minutes. [When we were there, there was a queue for the bus, hence it's easy to spot the bus stop. Need to walk a short distance to the bus stop.] It will bring you to a bus terminal where another free shuttle bus will send you directly outside Everland. Foreigners can print a discount coupon from the official website of Everland. The original price for a one day ticket is 46 000 won [discounted: 37 000 won]. Having this discount is pretty good but we got more discount! His friends managed to find a better coupon online that provided almost a 50% discount during that designated period! :D

The first attraction we went was the Kpop Hologram of Big Bang. There's also Psy and 2NE1 at other time slots. Using Big Bang holograms, we immersed ourselves into a life-like concert. Just that everybody was staring blankly only. Well, I tried to move a little. Now I know a little more of Big Bang's songs heeee.

Took some photos here and there before our first ride of the day. It's actually some rotating teapot kind of style (Championship Rodeo). Quite fun and just right for me haha. Next is the pirate ship (Columbus Adventure) which I did'nt go for. I sat downstairs to wait for them and am super relieved that I did'nt go up. The ship really went up very high and I was'nt prepared to feel my heart popping out. I think we went for a mini roller coaster next before they went for another bigger one (Rolling X Train) which they thought was'nt fun at all. We had lunch at a burger's place (Burger Cafe America).

The viking ship

Next was a 4D Rio show. We went into a (ball house) too, where you fill up machines with balls, and off they fly in the air! Childhood fun. The (rotating house) was also another interesting experience. You sit in a dark room, like on a mini viking ship, and you start getting illusions that the whole house is turning 360 degrees. At the last part, you get a scare from the butt massage thing in the chair. There's this area where you can see small animals. I felt the wool of a sheep but you can't see it in the picture. There's also performance going on with huge 花车.

We also watched the sea lion, penguins and birds performance. I fell asleep during the birds' performance because the cooling environment is good for resting haha. We took a couple water slide and a bigger water float together. Fortunately, we did'nt get very wet. Though it was damn funny when a lady got splashed by the water right into her face lol.

Next was the experience with (T Express), said to be the world's steepest roller coaster. Do you think I went? Of course not, I can't handle steepness. Went shopping while they waited for the ride for about 35 minutes. Their looks of excitement when they came down. haha must be very fun for them.

Our next stop was my favourite. The safari world. We sat in a bus and it drove us through the place where the wild animals were living. Unlike Singapore's Zoo where animals are caged or enclosed and humans can freely walk around, the animals there can roam around while we were confined in the bus. The driver even fed a black bear. It's my first time seeing wild animals so up close and i'm amazed. In the recent 200th episode of Running man, they also went to the Zoo in Indonesia where animals roam around like this. So fascinating. Would want to go for such animal observing experience again! Photos are all by bf because I was too engrossed in my own world. Not many species of wild animals though.

We had dinner before we went for the fireworks show (Dream of Laciun) under the stars. Their use of lights made it very nice. Romantic. Our third fireworks together <3.

All rides and attractions require you to show your tickets before entering. That is very troublesome, so keep your tickets in your pockets for more convenience. Reading the guide brochure now, it seems like we have missed out many places still [just like how we did'nt complete Ocean park last year]. I wanna go back to Zootopia now!

Blue shirt couple, cap couple and jeans couple outing success.
